Yeah, I know. This was last week’s challenge. But I’m behind and this is my blog so I can break some of the rules.
Since 2007, home has been Gig Harbor, Washington. It is a quiet fishing village located on Puget Sound about 45 minutes south of Seattle. In 2012, Smithsonian Magazine listed Gig Harbor number five on its list of 20 Best Small Towns in America. It is a beautiful place to live but you must have a good tolerance for rain, drizzle and gray skies.
This is the Fisherman’s Memorial in Gig Harbor. It is a tribute to the city’s maritime history.
