Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense

Distance. It’s the key to improving as a long distance runner. This is an Iphone self portrait I made on a local trail. The slogan is a play on the saying “Distance makes the heart grow fonder”. I selected this image for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge of “Future Tense” because I feel it conveys the idea of present-leading-to-future training.  You can sense the path that the runner intends to cover and the distance he must go.
